Bismarck Fire Hydrant Maintenance

Later this week, the City of Bismarck will be conducting maintenance on fire hydrants. Crews will be working on hydrants from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on October 3-5. Hydrants from Boulevard Ave. to Bismarck Expressway and 9th St. to 26th St. will be tested.

The city says that hydrant maintenance in those areas could result in rusty water. People are advised to not wash their clothes until their water clears. One way to help clear the water is to run lawn sprinklers.
