PLOTS and WMAs Open Only to Residents October 13-19

| 10/1/2012

The North Dakota Game and Fish Department is reminding out of state hunters that state law prohibits them from hunting on lands owned or managed by the department during the first week of pheasant season. Only residents can hunt Private Land Open to Sportsmen acreage and state wildlife management areas from October 13-19.

Nonresidents can still hunt on other state-owned, federal or private land. The law applies to all small game, waterfowl, furbearer and big game hunting during the first seven days of pheasant season.

Nonresidents can use the areas starting on October 20.
