Bismarck Burleigh Flu Vaccination Clinics Start October 10

| 9/28/2012

Starting on Wednesday, October 10, Bismarck Burleigh Public Health will start their walk-in flu vaccination clinics. The clinic will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on October 10 and on select dates in October and November.

Flu season usually lasts from October through May. The Centers for Disease Control recommends that everyone 6 months and older get a flu vaccine each year, especially people at high-risk for complications.

"Bismarck Burleigh Public Health (BBPH) is prepared to kick-off prevention efforts to control the influenza virus," said Vonnie Ereth, BBPH Wellness Supervisor. "We have both the injectable vaccine and nasal Flu Mist. Get vaccinated now before flu season starts. Protect yourself, Protect your family."
