Minot Man Taken to Hospital After Police Chase

A Minot man is in the hospital after he led police on a chase that ended with him rolling his vehicle in Minot early this morning. Shortly before 1:00 a.m. this morning, officers attempted to stop a vehicle driven by Aaron Johnson, 26, on east Burdick when he fled from police, leading them on a chase on 1st. St. NE.

Johnson eventually lost control of his vehicle at the intersection of 1st Ave. NE and 1st St. NE, striking the railroad tracks and rolling his car.

He was extracted by rescue crews and taken to a hospital. Johnson was arrested for DUI (A-Misdemeanor), DUS (B-Misdemeanor), Liability Insurance Required (B-Misdemeanor), Fleeing from Police Officers in Motor Vehicle (C-Felony), and Reckless Driving (B-Misdemeanor).
