Working With Mrs. Kennedy | Video

Jenny Castro | 9/25/2012

A first hand account of years alongside first lady, Jackie Kennedy, former secret service agent, Clint Hill, shared some of his experiences as the agent assigned to Mrs. Kennedy today at Minot State University.

Hill and co-author Lisa McCubbin talked about their book "Mrs. Kennedy and Me" which included details about President Kennedy`s assassination in Dallas in 1963. Hill worked closely with Mrs. Kennedy and her children and shared rarely seen photographs and videos.

“She was a hands-on mom dedicated to her two children Caroline and John and devoted wife to her husband, the president. Tried to do everything she could to make sure that he could be away from the stresses and strains of the office, a little bit each and every day,” said Hill.

Hill grew up in Washburn North Dakota and will be inducted into the Scandinavian-American Hall of Fame tomorrow at the Hostfest.
