Minot International Airport Approved for Rental Cars | Video

Minot International Airport is currently in the process for bringing in new vendors for rental cars. This evening the committee and council discussed how many rental services they will allow in the new terminal building.

Airport staff recommends four companies to operate the rental services. Both the committee and council agreed with the request.

"For many years, the airport has had 3 car rental providers and its worked out very well the last couple years the demand for car rentals has been significant in fact there have been quite a few days where they just don`t have any cars to rent," said airport director Andy Solsvig.

The five year term will be effective on January 1, 2013 and will carry out through December 31, 2017.
