Car a Dangerous Weapon?

Alex Hagan | 9/18/2012

Attorneys for a Fargo man convicted of aggravated assault with his car are appealing the conviction before the State Supreme Court. A jury found Alois Vetter, 74, guilty of driving over another person. They say he used a dangerous weapon, his car, to cause serious bodily injury.

Vetter`s attorney contends a vehicle is not a dangerous weapon under state statute because it is not listed in the language.

The justices will render a decision later.
