Airport Emergency Exercise Tonight

If you hear a lot of commotion in Bismarck tonight, including sirens, don`t be overly concerned. The airport is conducing a full-scale emergency exercise.

The FAA requires airports to do these exercises every three years, and the test will involve hospitals, fire, police and emergency preparedness coordinators, and airport employees.

They will practice their roles in case of a real emergency.
The event gets underway at 7:00. We`ll report more on the exercise tonight at 10:00.
