"Forgetting where you put your keys are, we all do that once in a while, but it`s when you put your keys in the refrigerator you know and you find them there that`s one of the ten signs so there`s definitely different signs from normal aging to having Alzheimer`s or other dementias," said Sue Spalding, executive director of the MN-ND Alzheimer`s Association.
"Everyone`s different. Some people go faster. Everyone has different signs and different symptoms, but I mean it`s a tragic thing to see," said Kari Dobitz, who lost her grandmother to Alzheimer`s Disease.
Alzheimer`s Disease is the sixth-leading cause of death in the country.
