Bismarck Fall Clean Up Week

Next week is fall clean up week in Bismarck. From September 17-22, crews will pick up items that are not normally collected, such as furniture, appliances and tires. Items must be placed out for pick-up by 8:00 on the morning of their scheduled garbage day.

The City of Bismarck wants to let residents know the following:

- City crews will not pick up appliances & tires from apartment complexes. These items may be taken to the landfill, at no cost, during cleanup week.

- A separate truck will pick up the special items set out for collection. Tree branches must be cut in four foot lengths and tied in bundles. All loose materials must be boxed or bagged & tied. It is illegal to remove any refuse set out for collection.

- No hazardous waste or liquids accepted on the route. Please bring those items to the Household Hazardous Waste & Electronic Recycling Center.
