A sweet idea to commemorate 9-11 locally.

Amber Theurer of Bismarck wanted to give back to Bismarck and Mandan emergency personnel.

She decided to deliver cinnamon rolls to area police, EMT and Fire departments. It was a good lesson for her kids and a chance to brighten up someones day.

"Just to see their faces light up and to know they are appreciated is nice to see. To know the public appreciates us and for them to come down here and do this is really nice."

After saying thank you, Amber and the kids she babysits got a chance to learn a few safety tips. And they watched the firefighters demonstrate some of their equipment.
