Tooth Taxi | Video

Providing dental services to children in need just got a bit easier. This morning Basin Electric presented the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile Program with a 2005 Dodge Caravan dubbed the Tooth Taxi.

The car will help transport staff and portable dental equipment around the state.

"Up until now our staff has been taking their own cars to the out of town sites and it`s a lot of wear and tear and expense on their cars too so we want to treat our staff as well as we can so now to have this nice, spiffy little tooth taxi to arrive in- it`s just a great compliment to the program," said Kathy Keiser with the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile.

Keiser says she expects the new car will allow the organization to double the number of children who will be served. Since being launched in February, the care mobile has served more than 400 children.
