| 8/30/2012
In accordance with a directive from President Obama, Governor Jack Dalrymple has directed that flags be flown at half-staff tomorrow to honor Neil Armstrong. Dalrymple said that all state agencies will fly the United States and North Dakota flags at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Friday, August 31 and he encouraged all North Dakotans to do the same.
The flags will be flown at half-staff to honor the memory of Armstrong, the first to walk on the moon. Armstrong passed away last Saturday at the age of 82
