It`s nearing the end of summer, but for some construction crews the work is just beginning. The Department of Transportation has crews in Bismarck working on the intersection of West Divide Ave and Schafer Street. They are adding a right turn lane coming off the I-94 ramp, and also adding a left turn lane from Schafer onto Divide.

In order to do this, crews have to add the lanes, realign the intersection and add interim traffic lights.

"Be patient. Be aware of the differing conditions. You might come through one day and you might think well it`s been the same way for five days. The next day could be the day it changes. So just be observant of what`s going on," said Project Manager Dean Schloss.

The project will be complete by mid-October.
