BMX State Finals | Video

Many of the best BMX riders in and out of the state were on the track racing in Bismarck this weekend for more than just a victory. Racers came as far as South Dakota and Minnesota to compete in this year’s North Dakota State Finals. The event was held at Fastrax BMX at Cottonwood Park on South 12th Street.

The three day event featured around 150 riders some as young as four to as old as 52.

“This event for BMX riders not only gets them the camaraderie and friendships that they make but it also gives them the pride for all the hardwork they`ve done throughout the year to try and get to where they are today," said Fastrax Director Lisa Sailer.

Twenty five riders were named state champions, each based on age. Winners took home a trophy and backpack.
