Rasmussen College in Bismarck held a summer career and networking expo Thursday. The event was free all students, alumni and community members. The college had a series of workshops and networking events.

Career Service advisors at the college say there are some ways to capture the attention of employers.

"Networking is your number one thing and I don`t know what the percentage number is, but it`s a high percent of people who get the job by who they know. It`s who you know what you know, who knows you and what they know about you. It`s kind of the four W`s that I tell my students," said advisor Nicole Morrison-Mathern.

Participants in the expo also had the opportunity to network with local professionals working in key career fields.
