Papa`s Pumpkin Patch Returns | Video

Volunteers were also at Papa`s Pumpkin Patch today for the Day of Caring. About 80 people from organizations like Touchstone Energy and the Bismarck Demonettes dance team were at the pumpkin patch, helping owners gear up for the Halloween festivities.

This year the festival will be back at its popular location near Bismarck. You might remember it had to relocate last year to Dacotah Centennial Park because of the flood

Today, volunteers were busy tuning up wagons, painting and sealing displays and getting the patch ready for opening day.

"Our guest will say wouldn`t it be cool if and that`s the impetus to create it and then the pressure comes to do it," said owner Dave Pearce.

"Just feels so good to give back to the community and they do so much for us," said volunteer Brenna Hanson.

Papa`s Pumpkin Patch opens for its 30th year on September 10. This year`s festival will feature some new attractions, including a new obstacle course and a zipline.
