Bond Set At $1 Million for Man Charged With Arson

A man charged with burning down a Steele motel will need to come up with one million dollars if he wants to go free until his next court date. That was the amount set by a judge today at the Burleigh County courthouse.

Alan Thomas is accused of setting fire to the Lone Steer Motel early Sunday morning. Thomas is currently being housed in the McLean County Jail.

His preliminary hearing has not yet been set.
