New Record Set for July Air Travel

| 8/15/2012

Airline boardings across North Dakota in July were record setting. According to the ND Aeronautics Commission, statewide boardings for July set another all-time record and are up 11 percent from July of last year.

"With increased passengers at our airports comes the ability to attract additional airline service to more destinations. Our state is one of the few in the nation that is seeing airline expansion and profitability." said Kyle Wanner, Aviation Planner for the ND Aeronautics Commission.

The commission says that the growth is due, in part, to the availability of new airlines and flights in the state.
