Lepe Captured | Video

Alan Miller | 8/11/2012

Dickinson police have arrested the man whose actions prompted them to ask residents to lock their doors Friday afternoon. They found Adolfo Lepe, Sr., at a relative`s house at about 8:00 p.m. Mountain Time. He was wanted on a warrant for domestic violence.

When police first saw him earlier Friday, he sped off in a pickup truck and officers decided not to chase him because of public safety concerns. Witnesses later saw Lepe running down an alley, and fearing that he might have a gun, police issued the public warning.

In addition to the domestic violence charges, he`ll also be charged with reckless driving and fleeing in a vehicle.
