More Affordable Housing in Dickinson | Video

Alex Hagan | 8/6/2012

State leaders broke ground for another affordable housing project in Dickinson. The new apartment complex will have 24 units with rents ranging from $575 to $1,063 dollars per month.

The complex will have a mix of six one-bedroom, 12 two-bedroom and six three-bedroom apartments. The incentive housing fund made the project possible.

"It was a project that had applied for federal low income tax credits, was not funded because of the competitive nature, we were able to restructure the project and make it work here in Dickinson using housing incentive fund proceeds," said Jolene Kline with the North Dakota Housing Finance Agency.

The complex is expected to be complete in February of 2013.
