Signatures Turned in for Proposed Farming and Ranching Measure

A group hoping to guarantee the right of farmers and ranchers to engage in modern practices turned in nearly a thousand petitions to the secretary of state today. They need about 27,000 signatures to place the initiated measure on the November ballot, they estimate they gathered over 31,000.
