"This is Fireflour pizza, we`re a mobile wood fired pizza company," said owner Kenny Howard.
Howard and his wife bring their pizza business all the way from San Francisco. They serve up neapolitan style pizzas in a wood-fired oven that`s on a trailer.
"My wife and I want to get in our own pizzeria and kind of introduce it to the people here in the Bismarck Mandan area before going into a restaurant."
The Howards set up their pizzeria all around town. This summer, they have been serving up patrons Thursdays during the Urban Harvest. And when the lunch hour arrives, pizzas come flying out of the fire"
"It gets rolling at about 10:45, 11:00 people start showing up. When it gets about noon we got a line that goes for a couple hours. About a 20-25 minute wait," Howard said.
The menu may only have a handful of pizzas but that`s not stopping people from lining up to get a taste of this mobile pizza company.
"Saw it and thought I`d try it out. Looks like really good pizza and it is," said patron Jordan Singer.
"I think it`s really good because there`s pepperonis and tomatoes," said patron Jade Johnson.
Though Fireflour is exclusively a mobile business as of right now, the Howards want to eventually set up a permanent establishment
"We`re going to try and get into a transitional place or something by the winter time, probably within six months."
In the mean time, they`ll just continue their pizza business on the road.
