Police Investigating Vehicle Thefts in Minot Area

Minot police are investigating a string of vehicle thefts over the last two days. The Ward County Sheriff`s Department and the Minot Police Department are looking for a 1989 Red and Black Chevrolet Truck taken from a residence in SW Minot and a 2005 black Chevrolet Cobalt that was stolen from Sawyer.
Authorities say that numerous other vehicles, ATVs and at least two semis with trailers have been recovered.

Authorities would like to remind people to lock their vehicles and remove the keys from them when not in use.

Anyone with information is asked to contact either the sheriff`s department or Minot police. Information leading to the arrest and conviction of persons involved in the thefts could be eligible for a reward.
