Grenstiner Pleads Not Guilty | Video

A Bismarck man accused of killing his mother and stealing her car says he`s not guilty. Dean Grenstiner appeared in court today for his arraignment. He is charged with the murder of his mother and theft of property last March.

Judge Donald Jorgenson read his charges and reviewed his case. Grenstiner is facing the possibility of life in prison without possibility of parole. During the hearing today, Grenstiner pleaded his innocence.

"That you did commit the offense of murder, a class AA felony, how then do you plead?" Judge Jorgenson asked.

"Not guilty."

"On count number two, charging you again on that date 26, 27 March 2012 with one count of theft of property, a class C felony, how do you plead?"

"Not guilty."

Grenstiner`s next court appearance is August 27.
