Several hundred people were inside I. Keating Furniture World in hopes of winning a big prize. The furniture store announced the winner of its annual Home Makeover Drawing this afternoon. More than 300 people sat or stood waiting for the announcement of the winner.

The winner was Dorie Meske but she`s not fully sure what part of her house she is going to use the winnings for.

"I haven`t decided yet but I know I need a new dining room set so I`ll look for that. From there I`m not sure that`s a lot of money to spend."

“We wanted to have this contest to thank all of our customers at I Keating for all the business they have given us and all the things they`ve given our store,” said Sales Manager Keven Oler.

Meske will be able to use the $10,000 prize on either furniture, bedding or accessories.

Employees at I. Keating say the drawing is one of the largest home makeover contests in North Dakota.
