Police Investigating Early Morning Break In

Bismarck police are investigating an early morning break in at a store in east Bismarck. Police were called to the Loaf and Jug on 2600 East Rosser after the owner walked into what she called a "ransacked" store.

The incident happened between 1:00 and 4:00 this morning. Police found debris near the ATM and on the floor behind the counter. The ATM had severe damage, police say it looked like someone tried to break it open by hitting it with a blunt object.

The owner believes $500 worth of merchandise was stolen.

There are no suspects, the incident is still under investigation.
