| 7/23/2012

A man is in custody after attempting to rob a business in downtown Bismarck this afternoon. Jimmy Davis Wilcox, 45, attempted to rob Money Bags on the 200 block of east Main shortly after 1:00. Wilcox entered the business wearing a white ski mask and displayed a knife.

The teller said she recognized Wilcox and told him to stop, but he didn`t. Wilcox ended up running away without any money after three witnesses spotted him harassing the teller.

Five witnesses chased him from the store to a street nearby. They pinned him down, kicked the knife away and waited for police to arrive.
