Zoo Snooze | Video

Jennifer Joas | 7/13/2012

Ever sleep in a zoo? Well, 80 parents and children are having a sleep-over at the Dakota Zoo tonight for the annual Zoo Snooze. Families are taking a train ride, going on a flashlight tour, making crafts and even having a bonfire.

"The kids and the adults both take away the ability to experience a different time at Dakota Zoo rather than the same old stuff that happens during the day. At night it is a little different. You have more of the nocturnal animals becoming more active," said Colleen McLaughlin, Dakota Zoo Education and Volunteer Coordinator.

The families will also have a breakfast tomorrow morning at the Discovery Center.
