Update on Missing Ardoch Woman | Video

Valley News Live | 7/11/2012

There`s been a break in the case of a missing Grand Forks County woman. Florence Dumontet of Ardoch was reported missing in October in Montana, while driving to a friend`s home in Washington State.

Authorities say a gas station attendant in Missoula positively identified Dumontet, and says she was with a Native American woman.

The Sheriff`s Department is now calling her a person of interest.

"Native American female, 40 to 50 years of age, thin build, medium height. No reason family members can think of why she would have been with anybody. And it doesn`t match the description of anybody Florence Dumontet would have known," said Sgt. Dan Hillebrand with the Grand Forks Sheriff`s Department.

Hillebrand says authorities know the name of the woman last seen with Dumontet, but they haven`t been able to find her yet.
