Recycled Art Contest

| 7/9/2012

Local artists are asked to turn recycled materials into art at the Recycled Art Contest in Bismarck on July 12. The contest, hosted by the Missouri Valley Resource Council and the Bismarck Downtown Art Cooperative, will take place at Urban Harvest from 1:00 to 3:00 in the afternoon.

The purpose of the event is to raise awareness about recycling and to encourage the City Commission to enact Curbside Recycling in Bismarck.

Participants will be given recyclable materials such as plastic, paper and cardboard to create art. The winner of the competition will win a $10 gift certificate donated by Tutti Frutti. All ages are welcome.

For those who would like to participate or observe the competition, please contact Scott Skokos at scott@drcinfo.com or call 701-224-8587.
