Driver in Fatal Crash Charged with Murder and Kidnapping

The driver involved in a fatal accident on Friday night is being charged with murder and kidnapping. John Bridges, 42, from Missoula, Montana is being charged with kidnapping and the murder of Lee Clay, 40.

The Highway Patrol said they found Clay`s body in the vehicle, but noticed that his injuries didn`t match the severity of the crash.

The crash happened near the 80th street overpass on I-94 near Bismarck when Bridges` vehicle went into the median and hit a sand barrel.

Bridges is currently being held in the Burleigh County Detention Center. He will be formally charged today.
