If you`re thinking about taking down your 4th of July decorations, don`t. In fact, it would be great if you could add some more. A team from Rand-McNally and USA Today are coming to Mandan on Friday. The city is a finalist for the most patriotic town in America and is going to be featured on the Travel Channel on July 25.

On Saturday they`ll be touring different spots around town with city leaders.

"You know, this is a great honor and a great opportunity for Mandan to be recognized in the Rand McNally maps and on their specials. So get out your decorations, decorate your homes, decorate your businesses. Let`s have fun with this, it`s a great opportunity for our city," said Mayor Arlyn Van Beek.

The exact time of the judges` arrival hasn`t been announced yet, but we do know the Patriot Guard will be escorting them from Sterling to Mandan.
