Military Appreciation Night | Video

A team from Rand-McNally and USA Today will be joining other special guests at Mandan`s Military appreciation night on Friday, July 6. The community barbecue will be held at Dykshoorn Park. The entertainment starts at 5:00.

Cloverdale ribs, sausage and franks will be served at 5:30 to the first 1,000 people. The West River Winds Band and Chuck Suchy are providing music and dignitaries will also be there to honor our service men and women.

"Should be a lot of fun for everybody to come out and the military and their families are invited and the meal is free to them and also the meat is free to the general public if they wear a red, white, or blue shirt for the evening," said Marlo Anderson with the Mandan Progress Organization.

The city and Mandan Progress Organization are sponsoring the event and will be collecting donations for the North Dakota National Guard Foundation.
