TN Woman Convicted of Sex Crimes

A Tennessee woman accused of flying to North Dakota to have sex with a 16-year-old boy has been convicted of sex crimes. A Grand Forks jury deliberated for less than 30 minutes before convicting Cynthia Kusy, 47, of assault and internet luring.

She was found guilty of sending sexually explicit messages to the boy, meeting him at a Grand Forks motel and taking him to Knoxville without telling his mother.

Kusy faces up to 15 years in prison.
