There`s a new squad car on the streets in Bismarck, but it doesn`t look like the old ones. The Bismarck Police Department is rolling out a new low-profile car to use in traffic enforcement.

It`s not white and doesn`t have lights on the top, so it won`t be easily recognizable from a distance. But it is a marked car and will be used to pull people over.

The police department says they hope that people will realize this car is out there and will voluntarily comply with the law. Especially when it comes to things like running red lights, speeding or texting while driving.
