The beer has already been tapped for this year`s Sam McQuade Charity Softball Tournament.
"This weekend is definitely the biggest weekend for beer sales for us. We got thousands and thousands of cases that get to the liquor store. Cases that got to the bars. It`s a fantastic weekend for our business part for this weekend for sure." said Shannon McQuade-Ely with McQuade Distributing.
McQuade Distributing employees started working earlier in the morning this week to keep shelves stocked with beer.
"We will all get to the warehouse at 6:30 hopefully check the truck out and get on the road at about 7:00. We`ll then head to the bigger stores. And from about 7:00 to about 4:00 in the afternoon with a minute you just haul beer," said Scott Weigel with McQuade Distributing.
The Elks Lodge, which is located a parking lot away from Clem Kelley Diamonds, expects to do well this weekend.
"We probably sell about three and four thousand dollars worth of beers." said Arlan Scholl.
Softball players know the brew flows freely during the tournament.
"There`s probably more beer consumed than there is water. Everywhere you go you see coolers, empty beer cans, garbage cans are full. I couldn`t even put a number on it I bet." said player Travis Collins.
McQuade Distributing will have employees on call this weekend, just in case some liquor stores need more beer.
"This event is so cool because you get to meet a lot of people. A lot of socializing going on. A lot of great people." Scholl said.
Softball may be on the brain for many this weekend, but the after game beer may be as well.
