Police Close Schmidt-Lozensky Murder Case

| 6/18/2012

Mandan police have officially closed the April murder of Gloria Schmidt-Lozensky. They say Schmidt-Lozensky was found dead of multiple stab wounds early on April 20.
The man they believe committed the murder, Robert Mitchell, was found dead two days later.

That death is still being investigated.

Police say there is both circumstantial and physical evidence connecting Mitchell to the murder. Police say they found Lozensky`s blood on the driveway, door, and door step of Mitchell`s home.

Police say no one else is implicated in the murder.
