Mandan Man Arrested for Reckless Endangerment

Bismarck police arrested a 35-year-old Mandan man after they say he turned on the gas in his ex-girlfriend`s home. Police say the 30 year old woman came home early Friday morning after going out with friends and could smell gas from outside her home.

She went inside and said there was an overwhelming odor of gas, and the stove was turned on. She shut the stove off, called her parents and then reported it to police.

Police say they found the suspect at his home and arrested him for reckless endangerment after he admitted to going inside her home and turning on the burners.
