Hooters Breast Cancer Fundraiser | Video

Joel Porter | 6/5/2012

Beautiful women and bikes were turning some heads in a parking lot on Sunday afternoon. Hooters in Bismarck hosted a breast cancer fundraiser. The event was called "Support our Melons."

Hooters girls offered a free will bike wash, a dunk tank and even some bowling featuring. What else? Melons.

The girls were raising money to benefit Terri Mellon and Carrie Krause who are fighting breast cancer.

"When you have a beautiful day like this and friends and family and people you don`t even know coming out to support you, it`s wonderful. And it makes you forget all of the hurt and pain you`ve been through in the past couple months," Krause said.

"Gosh, I`m overwhelmed. Very, very special, and you can`t say thanks enough," Mellon said.

The event also featured a watermelon eating contest.

Organizers have set up donation funds in Terri and Carrie`s names at U.S. Bank in Bismarck.
