Planned Power Outage for Areas of Morton County

Some Montana-Dakota Utilities customers will experience a power outage later this week. MDU says that they are planning a power outage for customers in New Salem and Almont from midnight to 6:00 a.m. on Friday, May 25, weather permitting.

Power will be cut so maintenance can be performed on a transmission line.

MDU recommends that customers prepare for the outage by backing up or shutting down computers and other electronic equipment.
