In it`s sixth year, "MSU at the Mall" is growing. The one day showcase allows people to find out more about Minot State University and its programs.
"It’s hard for a person to come to the campus and get through 17 buildings in three hours to find out about all those activities and so we bring Minot State University to the mall," said MSU Marketing Director, Teresa Loftesnes.
The MSU Entrepreneurship Club has a few plans of its own. Club members are nearly ready to open their own coffee shop across campus called "The Brew Café".
"All the finances, all the marketing, how to hire people, everything that goes into starting a business," said member Kelsey Barney.
The coffee shop is giving the young entrepreneurs a taste of what it takes to open their own business.
"It’s nice to see everything come together, usually if you work some where you just see it at that point," said freshmen club member, Kate Lynn Labers.
"It’s been a lot of fun working with this and just opening up a business and everything that we`ve done has just been students working together on it and figuring it out," said Barney.
More than 30 groups are taking part in MSU at the Mall, sharing information on a wide variety of programs offered at the university.
