New Parking Rules for Downtown Bismarck

A new Bismarck parking ordinance is about to take effect. Bismarck Public Works crews began installing 132 signs in the downtown area yesterday and expect to be finished by Monday. As soon as all of the signs are up, the police department will begin enforcing the new law.

The law requires a driver to park for no longer than 90 minutes in a parking space and then not return to either side of that same block for four hours.
