You`ve likely heard all about it by now, and tonight, theaters will be packed with audiences in anticipation of the latest hollywood blockbuster.

With box office projections between $130-140 Million dollars, "The Hunger Games" is set to shatter a March release record.

Rated PG-13 (for intense violent thematic material and disturbing images - all involving teens).

You`ve heard the hype, now see what all the buzz is about when the newest, blockbuster movie franchise hits the theaters in "The Hunger Games." Based on the best-selling book series, "The Hunger Games" takes place in a broken-down society, divided into 12 districts, where the powers-that-be hold control over the masses through a violent tournament of survival.

After her sister is selected in the annual lottery, one girl sacrifices herself to the deadly tournament, which will televise the last person standing in a sort of extreme reality TV show. With it`s commentary on mass media, the power structure of government, and the youth of today; it`s no surprise this flick is betting on banking big at the box office.
