BND Announces Affordable Housing Program

People looking to build housing in oil country may have another option for financial aid. The Bank of North Dakota (BND) announced a pilot program that will support efforts to build affordable housing in oil country.

According to the BND, under the program, there is an interest rate buy down up to a maximum of $300,000 per project. The community where the housing is being built provides matching funds.

The program is an expansion of the Flex PACE Program. Three million dollars has been set aside for the pilot program. More information can be found on www.banknd.nd.gov.
