For families who got a new baby in their house this year, it`s going to be hard to find something sweeter under the Christmas tree on Sunday.
"I always tell people, you don`t know what God`s love is all about until you have a child," Dorie says.
Today Santa Claus took some time from his very busy schedule to pay a visit to those sweet gifts that have already been delivered this year.
"The requests are a lot simpler, but they`re just as cute," Santa says.
Dorie and her husband are enjoying new traditions with three-month-old Kayden. She says today`s picture with Santa was a big success.
"It was! He smiled! He has lots of smiles. He`s the perfect age for those smiles. That three-month age, we look forward to every day because every day he does something new and he just grows right in front of your eyes," Dorie says.
For most of today`s visitors, it was their very first time on Santa`s lap... When some lost sight of mom it got a little ugly.. But it didn`t take long for Santa to work his charm and win them over.
A few big brothers and sisters even tagged along for a chance to make some last minute requests. For those of us who may have struggled with staying on the nice list this year, Santa says there`s still hope.
"There`s always hope. The biggest thing with Santa Claus is it`s not necessarily naughty or nice list, it`s who`s trying and who`s not trying list. Santa even has his bad days. It`s all how you, one, be honest about it and try to do your best," says Santa.
But Santa`s most important message for us is one we all know.
"Merry Christmas. Ho ho ho ho!" says Santa.
Santa was visiting Medcenter`s Well Baby Clinic today, where parents can bring their newborns to be weighed and get help from lactation counselors.
