A non-profit that helps honor the "Greatest Generation" is spreading its message at the state fair.
Representatives from the Rough Rider Honor Flight are at the fairgrounds after participating in today`s parade.
The group pays for veterans of the Second World War to fly to Washington, D.C. and visit the World War II Memorial.
Each flight costs more than $150,000 to take nearly 100 vets.
“Everyone had a dad, a grandpa, or a great grandpa who served in World War II. So we`re asking everyone to help with our cause. No donation is too small,” Honor Flight Secretary Beth Bouley says.
The next Rough Rider Honor Flight is scheduled for September.
