SWAT Team Assists in Arrest

The West Dakota SWAT team went into action in Bismarck last night. Fortunately, no one had to take a shot.

It was a precautionary move to arrest a man wanted on a parole violation in Stark County. Authorities had received reports that Raymond Scrogham might be armed, so instead of knocking on the door at the home near 14th Street and Rosser Avenue, they used a loudspeaker and told him to come out.

Scrogham finally emerged from the house about an hour later and was taken into custody.
