| Death of ND Couple Treated as Murder-Suicide |

| Pembina County authorities are treating the deaths of a husband and wife whose bodies were found in a Walhalla home on Thanksgiving as a murder-suicide. The sheriff`s office says John Kalis, 52, and Sharon Kalis, 41, were found dead in the home after a 911 call about a domestic dispute at about 3 a.m. Thursday. Authorities say a final determination on the nature of the deaths will not be made until after autopsies are done. Walhalla is in North Dakota`s northeast corner. |
