MSU Fraternities Coming Back? | Video
11/20/2009
It been more than 20 years since greek symbols were part of the Minot State University campus, but some are hoping that will change by next year.

Friday, Alumni of the Mu Sigma Theta fraternity and Sigma Sigma Sorority held a meeting for students to learn more about what greek life has to offer. MSU President Dr. Fuller approached the alumni in hopes to recapture the excitement of greek life back on campus. The Alumni strongly believe that being a part of a fraternity or sorority gives you a life long family.

"I am still friends with the brothers of my fraternity. It`s a brotherhood. It`s a family and it`s just outstanding," says Dave Aas, Alumni, Mu Sigma Theta.

Aas says he has not heard of anybody that opposes the idea. He knows some fraternities are known for causing trouble, but he says they will be highly monitored. Aas says he hopes to have the first pledge class next fall.
